Sarah and Paul are amazing hosts! The food was great, especially the fresh eggs. Our room was spacious and clean, and the lodge had a warm, inviting feel. It's really great for families, and the location is close to the beach.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had-quality ingredients and free-range eggs cooked to perfection. Plus, the location is close enough to walk to the beach and park, with a lovely view of the area from the rooms.
There were some challenges with parking. Only three spaces are available right outside, which can be a hassle to maneuver, especially with the on-road parking situation. Some rooms have small bathrooms, and the tiled floors can get pretty chilly in winter. Guests might also find the stair accessibility tricky if they've got mobility issues, and a few rooms could use an update to modernize the feel a bit.

Absolutely nothing the worst hotel we have had the misfortune to have booked into.
The attitude of the proprietors wife .the state of the bathroom, the breakfast regime, the quality of the food and as for a 4 star rating I shall be challenging, this and would expect it to be re-rated down wards possably to a 1 star.

The beachfront location was fantastic for our family trip. We loved the spacious room with a amazing sea view. The breakfast was especially nice, prepared with care, and the owners were attentive and friendly .
My wife said that a mini fridge in the room would be great for snacks.

The hotel was very conveniently placed in the centre of Torbay and close to bus route to eithweer Torquay and Brixham
Our bedroom was in the basement, which didn't really matter as we only stayed one night

Breakfast was good
The owners bred dogs. Room was basic and the bed was very noisy. The toilet had not been cleaned when we arrived. Disappointed as it is classed as a 4* hotel

Very friendly, welcoming owners. We had choice to 2 rooms, one pet friendly and one standard room. We were pleased that they did not charge us to have our 2 dogs stay in our room. The room was a good size, stylish with a tiled area for pets. We spent some time in the bar and the owner and his son were good company, Plenty of choice for breakfast
